Default Newer been happier to get a speeding ticket

about 1/4mile free highway ahead and some 1/8 behind I decided to finally do a warm weather FATS test 83F. It was 3,91 with low timing <13 and high boost from yesterdays testing (3,59 at 73F). Just when I hit the revlimiter I realised the car ahead (still about 1/16mile) is a all white policecar (lights on top, I thought it was an taxi from distance) so I hit the brakes but too late and I realised I got nailed.

They pulled to the right and waited for me to pass them and then showed me red lights. I was sure to get the normal prosedure for doubling the speedlimit witch is suspended licence and huge ticket so I was really happy to only get eur280 as they only clocked 17mph over speedlimit. It was a long curve but I'm not sure how stalker works, so they might just have been easy to me. Anyway, I was on my way to pick up the AVC-R from customs so this EBC ended up being a little more expensive than I thought.

Default what's an Eberspächer?

And, yes... you should take that fine and be happy! You might have ended up having the car flat-bedded home because they pulled your license right there...

Default Meh.

I like MBC's better than EBC's, just for the simple fact that it's mechanical rather than reliant upon input from a sensor to make changes to a solenoid duty cycle. If that solenoid fails open, you're kind of SOL, whereas an MBC is just a spring and a ball and where it's set to is where it's set to.

The shiny lights sure are cute, though.

Default I dont think I need the EBC anymore? I figured a way to get high rpm boost with MBC paraller

Now I can dial the upper limit with mbc and also have that boost up to redline. NO TAPER! I lowered the TCD value from 1.2 to 1.1 and that helped to keep the boost up.

I've been testing some different pressures and while 1.5 solid feels good it does make the IAT rise at high rpms. First I need to find out how to dial more fuel without rising part throttle 032 values. They are already at 13% and I'm a little on the leanside at WOT.

I lowered the boost one notch on my industrial MBC and its now at 1.45bar and then I pulled secondary and it helped high rpm A/F? It was 12.8 before and now its 12.2 . weather was a little colder 72F and fats average from three pulls in 3 minutes was 3,78. I need to experiment more on pulling the sec. even more.

If I dial more primary the A/F gets richer but then my part throttle 032 is over 15% and I get black smoke at WOT. I'm aiming for 11.8-12.2. now its 12.6-12.2. I guess its ok but more timing from richer AF would make some more power? my timing is now mid twenties in warm weather.

I guess when winter comes again it nice to have the EBC so I can dial boost from inside the car.
