Default Nexus's or Pirelli 7000SS for 18" 225/40-18's????

i am puttin rollers on my car, any tire help is awesome<p>2000 S4 Silver/onyx six-speed
AWE S-Flo, Bailey valves
UUC S.S. 40%, APR ECU
Apexi gauges, Greddy Turbo TImer
Alpine A/V
MOMO pedals, Razo shift ****
Clear corner conversion, 35% tint

Default PS these rims are for racing and showing around town, not for the hardcore winter, any info is great

Default Wow. Tire Rack still hasn't gotten rid of their remaining Nexuses, huh?

They were discontinued quite a while ago, but they seemed to have a whole bunch of these left in 225/40R18 and 265/35R18.

Go for it! These are great tires. A friend had them on his Probe GT and they stuck like velcro -- as good as the AVS Sports and a little quieter, too.

Pirelli 7000SS not in same league as Nexus. Get the Nexus'!!!

Anything but the P7000SS. Pirelli P7000SS just plain suck

Default Only problem with Nexus is noise...

I have the Yokohama Nexus on my A4 in 205/55-16 size, and they are MUCH louder than the original Dunlop SP8000. The Nexus has very good grip, but the constant droning sound at highway speeds is bothersome.

Not sure if the 18" size would have the same problem, but it might.
