Default NGK Iridiums cured my full boost misfires where the Bosch Platin F5DP0R were flaming out.

I was getting intermittent flameouts under full load through the lower gears with the Bosch F5DP0R plugs during the high boost spikes. ASP K04 fueling, 24+/- psi tapering to 22+/-psi file. Just put in NGK Iridiums BKR6EIX in a desperate attempt to cure the misfiring. Voila, several rips through the gears, no flashing CEL misfiring like with the F5DP0R's.

One question, does anyone "in the know" have a suggestion as how long it is OK to run these plugs (replacement interval).

Thanks,

Are the Bosch plugs the standard ASP plugs?

Default Interesting: I had the opposite experience.

I still have a set of IX's in my toolbox, used for one day... went back to the F5DPOR.

I'd say swap em every 30k or so.

Strange! I'll report back after a couple of tanks and let everyone know if the story is the same.

Default I have had the same plugs in mine...albeit I am pretty much stock...however

I have noticed a slight improvement over the stock plugs...The NGK Iridiums were also very good to me with my last car (Nissan 240SX).

I'm going to run the 6's for the winter, then maybe try the 7's for spring/summer.
