No drama, you don't want no drama...ironic observation

As the Audiworld turns this week it seems
1. Achtuning has become the anti-christ because of some mistakes they made.
2. Jacob/Buehn are hero statusing by doing group buy for KO4's.
Ironic since, if memory serves me it was Achtuning who first made Buehn Engineering well known by publishing some initial data on Zero Clearance stuff back in the day.
Anyway, just a subtle reminder of how things can change so fast around here. It wasn't so long ago everyone was on jacob's *** for some failures he had on "a batch" of turbo cartridges. Either he's fixed those problems completly or there have been less/no occurence and people are staying quiet.
Though quite a bit longer ago, it wasn't THAT long ago that Achtuning was just Josh being a hero selling RS4 fuzzy shifter ***** for cheap. Since then Achtuning has gorwn by leaps and bounds - my guess is primarily from internet sales...which is why its more puzzling why these problems there persist. One would figure good customer service => good internet rep => achtuning does better. I don't know, I just feel they've got too much vested in internet rep to let happen what has apparently happened to many people.
In the mean time I would urge people to seriously consider customer service before ordering from any vendor, get promises down in writing (email or otherwise) if timing matters. Stay with vendors you trust when you can, and trust those that have been good to you. Sometime the vendor is just as if not more important then the product.
Also, remember it does no good to hold any grudges. It just makes one lose objectivity. Time will tell if things have changed. Temporary gains (improvements) will always be worthless if not held.
Good luck to all you in your holiday selling/buying/tuning needs!
