No interior backlights work...HELP
Ok i have searched this 100 times over and have no luck. None of the backilights that are supposed to come on with the corner/headlights are working. the radio, hvac, vents, sunroof controls etc all do not light up. every fuction works though so i dont get it. is there a relay i dont know about or something?

I had a euro specialist tell me that cant be a fuse because the radio itself works. I checked all fueses associated with lighting and all were fine. i guess ill have to check every fuse??
fuse sounds most logical, but then why would every accessory work but the lights not? Ive had the car less than a week by the way. i removed the radio and hvac and all wires were fine so its not a short. man i hate electrical lol

Try a different instrument cluster...
sounds crazy, but my lights never turn off! After many hours of diagnosis, I swapped the cluster with another we had in the shop and they're off and work properly.
It's an easy thing to try if you access to a spare, good luck these things can be very frustrating.
