I used 1 quart per 600 miles when I had my car on Mobil 1. I changed to another brand (tried two different brands, actually), and the magical disapperance of oil stopped. I definitely burnt it. I did not have any leaks. I do not have leaks now neither. Hope that helps, although I can't explain it.
