Is it normal to see a tad of blue smoke on a below zero startup? It's not a smoke screen

like a frozen breather, but definitely a burning oil smell and you can see the blue tint. Letting the car idle for a few minutes and it's gone. Even putting my face in the condensation cloud and inhaling like I'm smelling Hillary Duff's panties reveals no oil. No signs of oil usage otherwise. Temps have been close to -20 last few nights. I've never noticed it before, but it might be I wasn't paying attention.

blue smoke at cold start up = worn valve stem seals
blue smoke all the time = turbo or worn rings...
black smoke = fuel
white smoke = headgasket/coolant

hen shut it off. I think that's pretty bad for it.
The benz, however, the harder I run it, plus the longer I leave it sitting, gives the classic leaky seal startup smoke screen. It's quite bad sometimes. Yay old german cars.
