I've got a couple of ideas, but I'd like to hear other people's success stories first so that I might avoid any common pitfalls.

I'm assuming it's not completely necessary to have the stock badge clips, as they aren't really designed for the hex grille in the first place. What other mechanisms have people used to affix the badge to the grille? I know larryV used the stock clips, but it wasn't completely clear from his original RS4 grille posts how he did it.

Obviously, the badge needs to be modified so that it will fit all of the way through one of the hexagons. Will just shaving down the "shoulders" of the badge bracket do the trick?

Any advice would be appreciated.
