you need to do something about that battery. The RD doesn't draw that much power...if it's just left on overnight (and I've done it), the car should have more than enough juice to start right up.

I switched my esp button and cuphloder , then moded a remot audi box from v1 in the cupholder

wires through the knee ballast. Get the power from the fuse box (one of the ignition related fuses) and ground it there. Run the telephone wire down your A piller and into the knee bolster area towards the mute switch. Sorry if sounds complicated, isnt perfect but works well and keeps the button hidden to others but easy to reach for you.
