What else can I say. Many thanks to Lou for selling it to me and ToyGuy for being a more resourceful guy then I am. Great design, sleek look, well worth the money!

Now on to selling the original unmodiffied V1 concealed display along with the trim piece the ToyGuy V1 display unit replaced. Any offers shot them my way. :-)

Default What's wrong with your center display?

It seems to be showing words instead of a collection of random dots.

Looks slick. Where did you mount the V1 itself? Was running a wire from the remote to the unit PITA?

Default It wasnt that bad, I pulled off the A pillar and the rest was cake.

I also pulled of the center lights from the headliner. If you pull the phone cable right it should slide itself inbetween the headliner and the windshield. if not just use your finger to pursade it to go in there. I didnt even tape mine or anything, just slid it in there and called it a day. Hasn't come out yet. Then on the A-pillar i made sure i ran the cable out of the way for the air bag. call me paranoid but its so simple to run it out of the way of the air bag rather then sit there and worry about it (gay i know). so then the i slipped the end of the cord at the end of the dash and fished the cord to just above the fuse box where i hard wired the unit. ran the V1 display to where it needed to go. I also added another mute button in the shifter boot for easy reach.

over all it was really easy. should be too hard to do. i didnt do a write up since i thought that there already was one. now that i think about it i should have done one. oh well. hope this helps.
