I had removed the rear speakers and they are not repairable. I am looking to upgrade to subs for the rear deck. has anyone used freeair subs? if so how do they sound? what type and size?
I do not want anything to take up space in my truck, and being a daily driver I don;t want to loose the spare or tool kit.
Any thoughts?

Back in the day, that's how I got into cars. I used to go to sound off competitions & stuff with a '92 Z24 I had when I was in the Army. If you could find some 8" free air subs I'd try that, & maybe get an amp to put between them. Maybe measure to see if they'd fit first, but I think they would.
Which car is this for?
