NTB BAIT AND SWITCH tire mounting prices!
Wanted to get 4 tires mounted, went to NTB with their Tire Rack Print out of a "Price Pledge" mount and balance on 40 series tires for $17.50 each, or $70.00 for all four.
Guy there told me...nope!...You have "performace tires" (Kuhmo nMX 225/45/17), your job will be $185.30. What do they mount cheap in that size? SNOW TIRES?
Packed my tires home, and sit here pissed off and wondering where to go for tire mounting.

what a bunch of horsesh!t. I have seen surcharges for 19"+, but NEVER for 17s.
that sucks. I had a PS2 mounted and balanced on a 18" OZ SL for $18 at discount tire, and I didn't even buy it there.

Go to a different NTB. I've been different stores and have gotten different prices.
Discount is on the expensive side and they charge less than what that guy quoted you and that's for my 19s!!!!

I had a great experience at Discount Tire
Matched prices with "the Rack" (they don't like saying the real name in their store), mounted 18's and gave me free metal stems and bolts.
BTW, how's the timing belt?
