Default Nuespeed 19mm sway bar: which is soft/street setting?

I did the install last night...what a PIA w/o lift.

The bolts that Audi uses are a PIA to get at...and neuspeed could have used a better setup for the brackets...but whatever....It's done.

Default The ones closest to the ends of the bar are the soft setting

I think that set-up is pretty cool..especially since I helped them in their design testing (just call me a guinea pig)

I put my 22 back on last night. I don't see how the brackets could have been better..

Default I'll probably be doing it this weekend. What tools do I need?

Tips? Anyone have links to Zaphod's writeup?

Default Here is a good write up.. And can you do some measurments for me..

Sean has a good one and Steve has one in the tech section.

Can you measure the distance between the end of the stock bar and the half shaft while the car is on flat ground. Also the distance between the plastic uplink and the halfshaft. You still have stock suspension right? I want to compare against my bar on the hard setting. Which changes the placement of those pieces relative to the halfshaft. Default I did it last night...make sure you have a variety of wrenches

Opened, closed, adjustable, needle-nose pliers. and ratchet set. I think I used 17mm 13mm and 12mm. Plus the allen-wrench/hex tool that is mentioned saved my tale (I happen to have one...that size). All required.

All in all, it wasn't hard. But the challenges of removing and reinstalling bolts&nuts were frustrating and took time.

I'm also very unexperienced under the hood =)
