Numb on center steering?

You're an M coupe driver? Did you give me a thumbs up on the 101 freeway in the valley last week? Hmm.. wouldn't that be a coincidence.
Anyway, I really love my S4, it's quite a change from the Corrado. The Corrado, though slower, has that great pocket rocket feel. It does everything well. The S4 on the other hand is a far more refined ride. Quiet but powerful, comfortable but a great handler. I think I sometimes enjoyed driving my Corrado more, but I've only got 3k on my S4 at this point so that opinion might change.
If you're looking for a more luxurious and practical refined sporty ride, I'd say go for the S4. Though you're not going to feel the road as much as you did in the Corrado or probably the M coupe. Tradeoffs, tradeoffs, tradeoffs.. damn.. that's what it always comes down to eh?
