isn't worth much. And if you are getting substancial compression reduction from a gasket, I'm not sure sure that is the best way to do it. I think something like a boost controller would be better for minmizing timing loss....boost spikes are bad for timing and a boost controller works way better than an N75. They aren't terribly expensive either. Just a thought.

"Kit to install turbos" what is this?
and it says Throttle body boot...is that another stock one? If so that seems weird to run a stick TBB with K04's. I woudl think some more detail about the kit would be necessary.

when your boost spikes, like it innevitably does with an N75 valve controlling it, you ECU pulls timing back. So this loss of timing is a loss of power. When you are able to control the boost spikes, you are able to run the timing the chip is meant to run. A boost controller helps with lag and boost spikes. So as long as the chip is tuned correclty, as we assume it is, and doesn't run timing that would cause pinging under the load the N75 valve is supposed to provide the engine at what ever specific RPM you are getting on the gas and spiking at, then you won't ping. Holy run on senstence. We have been testing this with the 1.8T's.

http://johnmonnin.netfirms.com/Boostcontrol.html</a

on our Web site the "pretty" smoothed line dyno charts (just like Audi publicizes) are the "claimed" result at the crank (just like Audi). In the case of the Stage 6, this is the actual dyno sheet from our actual USA car on that day with 93-Octane gas. Is this what you need? -Pete
