O2 fault codes...bad sensors or exhuast problem?
17585 (and 17584)
Bank 1 (or 2) lambda correction downstream of catalyst control limit reached
The dealer tech thinks it's from too much backpressure in my exhaust (Neuspeed Borla). It's been in the car about a month, but the error codes only showed up recently (with a check engine light). He thinks the exhaust has a problem.
I installed the exhaust myself, but had Midas seal all the clamps and torque everything down to be sure there were no leaks.
Has anyone had these fault codes before, if so what was the diagnosis?

I don't know the fault codes, but never had an issue with the Borla. I have had the O2 sensors
replaced though. There is no reason to blame it on the Borla. I have had the Borla on for 5 months and no issues whatsoever.

Most likely it's not your O2 sensors...there is a case where it's possible to set those with bad O2
sensors, but, since both banks are doing it, I would say you either have run race gas (possibly leaded) or you're running only one set of cats, or you're chipped and you ran some sweet fuel through there and pushed your car hard...
one way that code gets set is when the cats between the O2 sensors aren't doing their job
