Oh no.. I saw white smoke today. It looked like a white cloud behind me unless my
eyes are seeing things. I can't say for sure because the car is still running fine, and the cloud did not persist or reoccur. Anyone had their turbo's blow this way or would the white smoke be constant? I drove about 15 miles afterwards and nothing. Turbo's still spool normally and car drives normal, no lights etc. Thoughts? I'm concerned here...

Nothing that made me notice. I couldn't hear anything out of the ordinary when I had the radio on
at low-mid volume. Later when I was driving after a short stop and I decided to go WOT to see how the car would behave, I turned off the radio and could hear that turbo's spooling.. but again, nothing extremely loud or any "1000 screaming babies" sound.

The only way I can describe it is I could see a definite white haze in my rear view. I had no
traffic behind me so it couldn't be any other car. It wasn't "solid white" smoke, but a definite haze. After I slowed to a stop and reaccelerated, nothing reoccured. I stayed below 2800rpm for a few miles. I then went over 2800 rpm a few times, and then WOT a few times.. and nothing came back. Turbo's are audible when I have no music going or anything, but not where near as loud as most people commonly describe on here as the telltale sign of failure. Car still pulls well.

I did smell something odd when the smoke appeared. I'm going to check my coolant level..
though engine temps remained normal during the entire trip. Where was your leak?
