Oh yeah, played w/ an S8 last week...
I was downtown S.F and rolled up next to a black S8. Sooooo sweeeeeeeeet. I think the fact that I was eyeballing his car upset him or maybe it was because his girlfriend was smiling at me. I don't know, but he sat up as if ready to launch. So, we launced. I must have rolled out about 3-4 car lengths before the S8 began to keep pace and when I hit 2nd I pulled even further.
I realize the S8 is a big car, but very slow on the low end. City stoplight racing is probably not the place for this car, but man would I love to roll that S8 on the Highway!

noooooot, from the audiusa website
S8 is German for pure muscle. With a 360 hp, 40-valve V8, the S8 zips from zero to 60 in just over six seconds. Sweet.
The stock s4 is well under 6.0 0 - 60 for a 6 speed

audi s8: 0-60 in 5.8 sec... stick s4: 0-60 in 5.9 sec... tip s4: 0-60 in 6.4 sec
