Oil change at certification?

I purchased a cert. pre-ownded S4 about 2,800 miles ago... as part of the certification process, do dealers have to give it an oil change? Or is that not always the case?

Check the condition of the oil. Mine changed mine for the certification.

When I bought mine certified, they changed it, but used regular and not synthetic oil.

Mine has always used synthetic. They don't have and 0-40 dino there.
