Default Oil Drain Plug Washer - Oil Leaks

2000 S4 with 41,000 miles. I change the oil myself every 5k with Mobil1 0w30, or 5w30. The o-ring(washer) that comes with a new drain plug does not come off. Naturally it gets beat up after 3-4 oil changes and then you need a new plug and washer. Does anyone buy the washers seperate and if so, where, and how did you get the old one off without damaging the threads? I seem to leak a little oil from the drain plug.
Thanks

Default Some S4's like mine have an oil drain plug with a reusable washer:

it's thicker than a crush washer, and yes, you cannot remove it. Some questions... Why did you buy a new plug? How did the washer get "beat up"? Mine's not showing any wear, and I change the oil myself.
