Default Oil Shavings On Magnetic Drain Plug... Read On

Woke up earlier this morning to change the oil on the //S ahead of schedule, everything was going as planned, until I removed the magnetic drain plug. I almost appeared to have a ball bearing attached to it.

Do you think, being the car is still on the original set of turbos, it is "TIME" or this is a motor wear issue from the colder weather?

Please Chime In...

Default put a stock drain plug in there...

and next oil change, send your oil to blackstone-labs.com for analysis.

that will tell you anything you need to know.

after you send the sample in, you can put the magnetic plug back in.

Default typical for mine; on my 5th or 6th oil change with the

magnetic drain plug and still getting metal.
