The oil topic that wouldn't die
I just inquired with my dealer as to what type of oil is used during scheduled maintenance. He replied that it is Mobil 1, but that Audi changed the recommended weight to 10w30. I know that the manual indicates 0w30, so has anyone seen a service bulletin to back up this change?

Called AoA
I spoke with AoA for clarification on the weight recommendation and was told 0w30, 0w40, 5w30, 10w30, and 10w40 were all acceptable depending on regional conditions. My dealer in Dallas does use Mobil 1 - possibly because it is also a Porsche dealer - factory fill.
