Default My A4's left rear wheel bearing was just replaced at 39K miles...

Less than a month before the warranty runs out. The service invoice shows that the dealer used a Bearing Kit (p/n 8D0 598 625 A) to fix the bearing. The bearing gave no warning that it was failing...one minute it was quiet, the next it sounded like a plane was in the back seat.

Default Same wheel too. It is not uncommon for this to happen. Early model A4's were...

somewhat prone to wheel bearing failure. I blame it on road conditions & unbalanced wheels though(look at all that gunk built up in your wheel well). Get it fixed sooner than later & tell the tech you are hearing what you think is a failed bearing noise in left rear (or whichever wheel the sound is from), they will know exactly what you're talking about.
