OK, I've read every post ever made about LWFW's and can't decide. Going stg3 soon w/ SB OFE clutch.

I'm fairly picky about noise. I find Milltek 3" and AWE Twin2 great for sound. However, I find Milltek SuperDual and Borla (and others) too loud. Just to give you a reference.
As for the lwfw, there is definitely a noticeable chatter below 2k rpm....primarily when lugging it (so not really much in 1st gear because there's not much load). With windows up and music on you can't notice it. Only when you have windows down, music off, and some nearby reflective surface (cement wall, building, etc) do you really hear it.
I don't mind it....primarily because it's only below 2k rpm and so I can control it. Also, the benefit of easy rev-matching more than makes up for it (since I track the car). The idea of less weight it also nice....along with ability to change fw lining instead of having to resurface when replacing clutch.
The less mass also makes for a *slightly* harsher engagement of the clutch.....but, honestly, it's not that different. If you are on an incline starting in 1st you will need to give it some more gas before engaging than with a OEM flywheel...but it's not like you will easily stall the car either. IMHO, our cars with OEM flywheel are impossible to stall anyway....so the reference point is way skewed.
So, unless you are super picky and/or won't take advantage of any rev-matching then I would say go for it.
As for clutch type, I had VAST kevlar with lwfw in my old sedan, I have SB OFE with lwfw in my avant now, and I've driven a few CM cars. They're all nice. I think the SB engages best, followed by VAST (very close but *slightly* more abrupt engagement point), and then CM (very light pedal).
