Default Ok, so I just went and did some more tuning/logging. I ADDED timing all the way back up to 0!

When I got the car, timing was around -4 degrees, and it sounded like it was pinging all over the place on 91. I took 2 more degrees out and the knock sensor in cylinder 5 and around 19 at the high point, so I figured I was good.

Well, even though the 02 readings looked correct, the car smelled rich, and I still heard what I thought was knocking. Moss said -6 degrees timing was too low, so I decided I'd just keep adding it and checking block 021. Well, I got all the way up to 0, from -6, and the highest knock percentage in cylinder 5 during a 3rd gear run is only 15!

Fuel looks good, and I ran around a 4.8 FATS (logs and stuff coming later), om straight 91 in 85 degree weather. I'm gonna leave it for now, and let Moss do his magic at the end of the month .

Default Dude, you need a wide band 02 sensor.......

Seriously. Spend the money, it is worth it.

Low timing can kill an engine's performance at higher rpm. You need lots of timing up top.

Default Good job! Keep on logging and adjusting...

#5 @ 15deg is well below threshold, sounds like you've got some room for more timing!

Before you tweak timing further be sure to log your EGT's to see how your fueling is. Also check out 032 and 033 regularly.

Default Nope, it's been raised another half inch - I did ride like that for a couple of weeks though

I replaced the Ultras with Tracksports and raised half an inch - 600/700.
