Ok, so I've decided to buy hood pins for my CF hood. Which ones should I get?

Default Can you recommend a place in SF Bay Area that can install them. TIA

It seems to be an easy install but I'm worried on how to line up the bolt to the latch opening...or do I install the bolt first then the latch?

Default Not sure, we did it ourselves.

Definitely install the bolt first, cause that'll determine where you need to cut a hole in the hood.

Default will do!

I can get them powdercoated black for you if you'd prefer that over chrome/silver.

Default I did an install with a friend on my Spec Miata

To be honest..unless you are willing to go at a tortoise pace, checking and rechecking, I wouldn't want to do a schlocky job on my S4. Race cars are different. We actually ended up ok...but the version we used was not high quality. They are ok for the Miata...not recommended for street or show car applications, IMHO.

You can't anodize steel. The pins are likely steel, and the skuff plate anodized aluminum.
