and the body shop I took it to said that the scratch was so deep they have to sand my entire trunk down and repaint the whole thing. Im going to take it to another shop just to make sure, but they are a highly recommended body shop by audi owners in my area so I think they are being honest.

Anyways I started thinking, since I have to repaint the entire thing anyways.. why not get a lightweight one while im at it and save some pounds.

I STFA and found the only figberglass trunk was made by Vortrag, who is no longer in business. I could also get a carbon fiber one but I cant seem to justify spending 800$ on something that im just going to paint over the carbon fiber anyways.

So does anyone know if there are any other companies who make fiberglass ones? Is it even worth it?
