Posts on the STFA say they are around $21 a piece... even Clairparts sells them for $38.50.

Default An Audi or VW dealership probably won't carry a 110. They'll carry a 114/710N though.

Just tell the parts department you want a Cutoff/ Purge Valve for an 2002 Audi TT, part number ending in 710N.

However, if you do a quick search here you can find the exact part number for the 710N.

You can get 710Ns from AutohausAZ for like $33 shipped (I bought mine from them).

Yeah, but I want to try a pair of 110's (I have 710's in now, but I think they need to be replaced).

I know from the archived posts I read that it seems as if the 110's have stiffer springs than 710n's

Default Have you done the ghetto vacuum test?

Remove the BPV, push the plunger up, cover the nipple with your thumb, release the plunger. If it goes back into place, you may have a failed valve. If it holds, your valves should be fine.

I did this test on my two OEM valves and both were shot (they slapped back into place immediately). When I did the test on my 710Ns before putting them in, the plunger held in place.

Default Quote from BPV testing done by mike01s4 (piggie):

"From my previous post, all signs indicated that the 110 and 114(710N) were the same exact valve due to the exact same spring rate, max displacement and piston seating, etc. Now, I also noticed that the diaphragm was made of the same exact polymer material with the same exact thickness and the same construction with the same brass stopper. So, even though there are two different part #'s, they are totally the same."<ul><li><a href="http://www.s4biturbo.com/art-dvtests2.php">http://www.s4biturbo.com/art-dvtests2.php</a</li></ul>
