Ok to use braided vac hose on passenger DV?

I STFA'd and read that windshield washer hose is ok to use but the ID is clearly larger than the oem hose.

I compared the braided vac hose to the oem rubber hose and it looks like a match but I could be wrong.

AutoZone has GoodYear 5/32" rubber hose by the foot which looks pretty good...

Haven't used it yet, but picked up that as well as some 9/32" for various rerouting in my Golf.
