I got a "2001 Customer Satisfaction Survey Study" questionaire from the Maritz Marketing Research Inc. Somehow they know that I leased an Audi S4 and sent me this 8 page questionaire about the car and my dealer and all this other stuff. The coolest part was that they sent $1 in the envelope. A nice crisp new $1 bill. Well, I'm off to go spend my new fortune....any ideas what I should spend it on????? :-) Also, has anybody else recieved something like this, and what do they do with the information?

I think mine was from JD Power. It had $1 in there, too, and like 200 questions. It kept going on and on and on... so I just threw it in the trash.

I would've filled it out if I could have done it in 10 minutes or less... but it was an easy 30 minutes for all those questions. Too many for $1.

I think I bought a coke with my fortune and had 25 cents left over!

Audi didn't give me the answers for it. When I get work done at the dealer they give me a nicely printed peice of paper with 'responses' to the customer satisfaction followup phone call. The 'correct' answers are all '5's and 'Yes' of course. If Audi knew about this I'm sure they'd send us answers, or perhaps an entirely filled out survey.

I received no less than four ownership surveys since leasing my S4 in Feb.

a syndicated buyer study conducted by one of two major mkt researc firms in the car business (the other being Strategic Vision). Essentially, what you received is a survey by Maritz (hired by Audi) to measure buyer behavior. It helps Audi gauge its performance via dealer sales & service, product content, positioning, inflow, cross-shopping, etc. etc. The $1 is their "goodwill" incentive...don't spend it all in one place.

Usually if they don't receive a response to the paid "mega" version, they follow up with a short form that has like 20 questions.
