The page is LOTS smaller and should load within a minute on a 28.8 modem..

Thanks for the heads up. I hope to get this finished soon.

http://home.pacbell.net/tmblue/defi_hud_install.htm</a

Default I think your digital HUD boost gauge is pretty cool, but still don't see practicality in it:

Meaning, a digital guage is still not even half as accurate as an analog gauge. I got a boost gauge so I could monitor changes in the boost curve/pattern, not just the max psi and sustained...I don't think you could see changes as easily in a digital gauge setup, could you? Oh well, it does look pretty damn cool. Can you make the light red?

Great job on the install guide btw. Oh yeah, one more thing; you'll probably end up wanting to move the projector back towards you a bit so the readout is a little easier to see...higher up, etc.

Default Hey Ben, did move it farther back (wasn't done in pic)

I like to see vacumn when off boost and with the analog output I can see what my boost is running at, along with the digital readout. Also comparing it with the VAG-tool block 115, it's not far off from what the ECU is seeing.

2 modes, 1) real time boost with both the digital and analog display

2) max boost attained in analog and real time boost via the digital.

I wasn't aware that by putting in the clutch you really change things up, idle, vacuum jumps up etc.

Thanks Ben, I appreciate you speaking your mind
