Old guys driving s4's
I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks to see what's going on, since I'm thinking of buying an A4 or an S4. I have two questions:
Do old guys buy S4's? I think they're great looking cars and I would love to have one, but is it pretty much a boy racer car? Reading some of these posts, I wonder. I'd be curious to know how old people are on this forum. I'm 53. Maybe I should buy a Deville......or a Camry.....
Also, I live in an old neighborhood in Seattle that was built when few people had cars, so I don't have a garage. Do people leave your cars alone pretty much when you park them on the street? How do you protect your car?

IF your considering buying a higher priced Germany sports sedan, then build a garage :)
The S4 is for anyone that want's the luxury of driving in, the best interior on the market. The S4 is for those that enjoy to drive their vehicle and is not just a mode of transportation vehicle. It has personality. It's low key, thus a lot of us like it.
$42K vehicle a boy ricer make not!
You want another fun car, the Audi A6 4.2 or the S6..
Depends on what you want the car for. No one can tell you what "you" want out of the car.. You tell us, we can then tell you if it's the right car for you.
No garage, no car cover hmmmm.. Well if you can have a detailer on staff that can keep it clean for you then it might not be that bad

that is why audi is so great. it appeals to so many people and can satisfy so many needs..
I am only 26, but I will probably still drive an Audi when I am 53 and beyond. there are people out there modifying DeVilles and camrys as well. actuly here in Anchorage I would say Audi is definately a more "mature" car. it really does not matter, if you like it, get it. as far as a garage, i know i would worry alot if i did not have one.

It doesn't matter how old you are.
You don't need to worry about how you look in your car, or what type of car you should have for your age. If you're an auto enthusuast, get the car you want.

Age is not of importance as long as you can appreciate and enjoy the car for what it is......
Im only 20 but can understand what my car stands for, what it is capable of, and I know how to appreciate all of that. So to you I say, buy the car. But dont buy it just because it costs over 40k or because it has an "S4" badge. Buy it because you know what Audi and S4 stand for and because of how it make you feel when you drive it.
