It was a moderate nor'easter.... nothing all that bad. I didn't see much over 20 inches. A few years ago, we had a series of these storms that dumped about 2-3 feet... EACH, all in a span of about a week.

Maybe it was bad since it hit fairly far south...Up here in New England, 20" is pretty good, but it doesn't take very long to get back to business as usual. Down in NC, it shuts everything down for days. The airport there is closed until thursday. If Logan took a 20" hit, it would have most all its runways open within a few hours after the snow stops.
