Default Only issue I can think of is...

...that you might end up teraing an F-hose, TBB or destroy a BPV with the chip in the car. But if you're installing the chip one week prior to the road trip, that should give you enough time to "shake-down" the car and make sure you're not going to have issues with blown hoses, BPV's, etc.

It doesn't need to adjust .. I drove 12 hours straight on the X-chip .. no problem.

Default JeHo...

You are not installing the chip(s) yourself?

Once you get back, we need to arrange another gtg. I want a ride to see how weak my MTM really is. I also want to see how the other goodies perform. You need to get a ride in Jason's updated beast as well.

Have fun with the new power.

Default agreed...

I took a 1300 mile road trip with APR and didn't have any problems...in fact my fuel efficiency was up vs stock (was stage 2 at the time).

Default I'm having GRD put in the chip for me. I didn't buy a whole new ecu, just the chip.

Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. I would love to go out with you guys again.

And with gas prices soaring to $2.18 here in Chicago, i'm looking forward to a little efficiency.

I'll probably just hold on to it. Don't they solder on the new chip to the ECU?
