I for one have and have somehow known that it was referred to as the "The Move". Also, my apologies to anyone who may have been offended by this story, but it truly is hilarious. I've had it in my joke file for over a year now and every so often still have to read it to crack myself up.

My commute is about 70mi which I make three days per week. It had been a while since I'd driven a car with a manual transmission (my last was a '95 Accord EX). Over the first 2K miles, I found the S4 pretty manageable.
Mine's a bit notchy going from 1st to 2nd, but otherwise it's quite smooth (though not as smooth as my old Accord's). The throw isn't particularly short (I'd prefer shorter), but it's reasonable. I think the clutch travel is pretty reasonable too.
I got in the habit of putting it in neutral when stopped and feathering the clutch into 1st or 2nd to get moving as traffic creeped forward. Not as pleasant as driving my last car (Lexus RX300) in heavy traffic, but tolerable. I think it's worth it to have the responsiveness and control of a manual transmission.
