140,000 miles and counting in 11+ years, still puts the same smile on face from 2nd to 3rd! Original everything except the usual wheel bearings, timing belt, window regulars, brakes, etc. Added a GIAC chip around 135k, smile is a little bigger since then!! When the Turbos finally go I plan on going to bigger ones, not sure which ones however. Clutch is original and finally getting touchy, chip didn't help that, currently #1 on the to-do list. #2 is the exhaust, starting to leak (thanks to northeast road salt), eyeing the twin2 for its replacement with matching down pipes. I don't think I will ever sell her, best car I have ever owned.

Still have mine!
I love this car, though it does get a little expensive when I take it to the dealer. Same dealer the entire time and every time it is in, they always comment on it's condition.
I've considered the new RS5, slightly better 0-60 time but man, am I ready to replace the S4 - Not!

Original owner here- bought my S4 from New Country Audi in Greenwich CT and picked her up on 05/24/00. Just crossed 63,500 miles. I have stasis coilovers, rear anti sway bar, and my trusted V1

Still remember the day I picked her up from the dealer. 11 years, 6 months, ~81k miles with some decent track usage back in the '03-'05 good ole days. Still running strong with original turbos too :-D (thank you to the RS 4 oil cooler)...
I see nothing out on the market that makes me want to replace my MaD wAgOn. Along with STāSIS MS suspension, 332 Stoptechs, STāSIS Rear Brake Kit, AWE Twin1, I've spent too much sweat modding her to drive right to want to let her go. If Audi makes another S or RS Avant with turbos, I'd seriously consider it. An Avant with the 2.5, 20 valver from the the TT RS seems to be a good start (quite impressed with that TT RS when I sampled my student's at a recent track event). Till then, I'll just have to continue to enjoy her when I can.
Good to know there are other original owners who realized what they got, a pretty special car, for pretty specific tastes...
Attached a pic of her recently at a good buddy's new house, made for a good impromptu photoshoot :-)...
