Default OT: Motorweek test of new Q45 got 0-60 in 6.6, 1/4 in 15.8...

...boy, that's a helluvalot slower than the 5.9 quoted and the 1/4 figure is appalling for a 340hp, 3950-lb. sedan.

Default Maybe its Motorweek's staff...seem to remember they got less-than-impressive performance

numbers when they "tested" the A6 4.2 and 2.7T. Should we volunteer to give them some driving lessons?

Default they couldn't have brake-torqued it properly....

I haven't driven one yet but 6.6 is totally wacky and like any manufacturer, they WILL test the car to destruction to get the best time but .7 seconds different???

Default Maybe so. It's pretty hard to stomp on the accelerator pedal in an automatic...

...in the test, tire squeal was audible at least midway through 1st gear though...

Default Isn't that the case with the new IS300 though???

I thought Lexus claims 7.1 0-60, and the bulk of tests come in 7.6-7.9 or something like that...

Yeah... it seems like manufacturers are getting very aggressive with performance ratings
