Oval Bridgestone SO-3's or others?

Anyone else have this issue? My SO-3's are not as round as they should be and are inducing a async whump whump whump (I get an extra special sound with the sunroof open due to fluctuation in the air flow over the opening.) No alignment problem, but handling is not as good as it should be since contact is non-constant.

Have you run into this issue with these or other tires?

Are you sure that the tires are properly balanced?

I'm not sure how a tire can be "out of round," as it will conform to the rim when mounted.

I had similar issue with one of my old Toyo TS1's.

Bad tire had then been swapped out by dealer for free. They were kinda noisy to start with for me anyway.

A bad mounting job can cause shifted wire inside the tire....

which translates into "oval" in short period of time. Yes, it happens....

Thanks all. Back to the tire dealer tomorrow to see if they just didn't balance them or the tires are not round or they're just smoking crack or all of the above.
