Do you think that 1.4bar spikes is good for your turbos? == Absolutely Not!..I Even Adjusted My MBC
but apparently not enough.
My max HP appears in the 4-5k rpm range - this based on my MAF readings. But, I don't get "throttle cut" from the ECU, only from my foot lifting off the accelerator. My VAG logs constantly confirm this (been logging this for the past year). Early this year - some folks in this forum cast doubt on my claim - so I posted the VAG logs - I've logged more since. I exeperience no hesitation at WOT or 4k rpm. Now, I am using lemmiwinks and it makes a difference in "smoothing out" the aggressive X chip.

You have a good point. Lemmi should be able to modify behavior of X. I am not much
of a Lemmi tweaker, but the only one I saw that would have a direct effect on overboost is chan 12 SEL scaling (Turb Cars Only). This one has the problem of reducing the amount of boost across the board.
I am suprised that your MBC cannot get rid of these spikes or reduce them.

Cool, didn't you try running an MBC in parallel to fix this earlier? If so, what's the relative..
differences between this build and MBC? I never did make it to MBC, decided to check this out first.

I'm still running MBC in parallel...(more)..
When I was running v7a X software, MBC set to 16PSI, I was still experiencing TC. BAD. 3rd gear WOT would be very "hit and miss". Jumpy, watch the gauge hit 16, drop to 10, jump back up, etc etc. GIAC chip symptoms.
Same setting, new file. Car pulls HARD. Admittedly, the "*****-out" torque isn't there until 4500rpms, but there is no TC. The car pulls hard, 2nd and 3rd to redline, no TC, no hesitation. VERY smooth.
I'm sold, new k03 GIAC is worth the flash (it's flash only btw)

My guess is that you can try it without MBC with the new code...
The reason that I say this is that I was seeing some pretty bad TC (look at the blue curve on the thread of this post).. Now looks pretty good, no TC, no MBC. By the way, you said that you were going to send me MBC instructions, but never did.
