Default One EGT is pretty new, one is original. O2 sensors are pretty new (last couple years). No codes.

I'm thinking that rich code may come from short term fuel trims (STFTs), not long term fuel trims (LTFTs). LTFT numbers look reasonable.

Default The code is from LTFT's. I'm not sure if 02 sensor aging has anything to do with it or if there is

any type of injector constant that was changed in your code to account for the AFPR. Best bet would be to go to OE FPR and get retuned honestly. No need to run the 60#'ers that high; 4.8 IIRC?

Default They are not reasonable. +-5 is reasonable for me. Log your MAF and see what comes up.

Although the Hitachi MAF is much more reliable, I have still had a couple that will read too much g/s at idle and too little at higher RPM.

You might also be able to get more info in freeze frame (when it happened, RPM and temp?) with the generic OBD function in VAG-COM, can't remember on our cars.

Default I just want to know where codes and CELs are thrown. Was told was codes at 15%, CEL at 20%, but

have CEL much less than that.

Default Code cannot be from LTFTs, numbers are too low (< 10%). Should be codes at 15%, CEL at 20%.

I think must come from STFTs (guessing).

Default Bentley says 17545 is "Long Term Fuel Trim Add. Fuel Bank 1 System too Rich"

and also "With this malfunction the exhaust Malfunction Indicator Light is only switched on by the ECM if the malfunction is recognized after the engine has been restarted."

Check page 47. Doesn't say any of the P or VAG codes relate to short term trims.<ul><li><a href="http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Audi/C5/BentleyPublishers.com_Audi_C5_OBD_Diagnostics.pdf" >http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Audi/C5/BentleyPublishers.com_Audi_C5_OBD_Diagnostics.pdf</a</li></ul>

Default I am still puzzled, if LTFTs, why would trip CEL at -6.8%. Doesn't make sense.

Please explain.

Default Wish I could man. I wonder if the code at 15% includes positive and negative? IE your total

deviation from the MAF maps is actually 17.7 on bank 1 right now. What have you done in Lemmi? Your FP is definitely different than when it was tuned so I'd be worried you're dangerously lean at WOT...
