Finally brought my new pearl white s4 home to colorado, unfortunately i obtained a few fairly large chips on the front of the hood.. Any recommendations on what to do to fill these? I was under the impression you could not buy touch up paint for this color... I plan on getting a 3m bar, guess I should've done it before I drove the car home.. ![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

looks awful. you can't duplicate the multi-stage painting process w/ bottles of touch up.
a good thing about pearl, though, is small chips aren't that noticable cause the primer kinda blends in with the paint. if you're down to the metal, by all means put in some touch-up to fill the hole a bit.
then invest in a clear-bra/stongard/x-pel etc. and then mutter to yourself whether the $1,200 was worth it for such a pain in the **** paint . . . don't get into an accident either, the body shop charges for painting pearl will amaze you!
obviously, i think it's worth it, since i got another pearl after my pearl a4.
