agree 100%. i did it last year once becsue i had too (picked up car from shop in CT and drove back
to MA)...the car had been in the shop since march so snows were still on...but they really really suck when it gets above 60.

You must be kidding, I can't get off my Pilot Alpins quick enough
on both my awd Talon and S4 to change back to my summer tires (Pilot Sports, Talon; RE040's, S4). The Alpin's handling is far below that of a summer or even performance all-season tire: far too many sipes, and the tread blocks are too high. Having said that, they're much better in the dry than snow tires (such as Blizzaks).
