You can't really tell the difference. But for the hair splitters...
...the Philips 4,100K is a bit brighter (more total lumens output) than the Osram Xenarc 4,300K. At least these are my findings.
Color temperature by definition, has the Osram Xenarc 4,300K, 200K whiter than the Philips 4,100K but it's not discernible to the human eye.
OEM on our S4s = Osram Xenarc 4,300K. It's a first-rate bulb in mediocre housings (Valeo). Yes, our Valeo E-Code and U.S. Spec housings are just average compared to other HID housings. I'll take a BMW or Porsche Hella housing any day. :-P
