Default TJ: I have only had one more CEL since we last traded posts>>

Left my car running with the lights on for about 20 minutes (so i caould snowblow a portion of my driveway where there is no lights).

It was cold - low single digits. Since then i have not had misfires (two events total). But have been making a point not to let my car idle for long periods.

When the temp is single digits my idle is a bit rough (hunting) - when it is 20+ it is significanly better.

Just thought you might like the update.

Default Yes, I started noticing that today. They explained that it was going to and to let them know.

He explained that I was going to get a CEL for misfiring and to let him know when it did. I didn't ask why that would happen and figured to just let them know when it did. I haven't spoken with them yet about it. Is this common on ASP kits?

Default CPT is apparently an authorized ASP dealer, so they can upload a buttload of files until

it runs properly. Those of us that live 2 hours from CPT, <cough> me, are kinda fvcked.

Misfires seem to be an increasingly common theme with ASP. BUT, if you live near an authorized dealer they most likely can easily resolve the issue pretty quickly. They switched to different injectors, but there are still a couple people with misfire problems even on those (siemens deka).

My advice to everyone is if you don't live near an authorized ASP shop, get a custom tune.
