We figured that we'd save such experiences for nicer weather. More motivation to return for the summer!
I didn't notice the beer in the vending machines, but I did notice the workers oggling our mildly-attractive female tourguide. Some of the tour group guys were able to stop and chat with the guys doing the drivetrain connection, but obviously I wasn't privy to that conversation. I forgot to mention all of the bicycles for the factory workers to get around. Pretty neat concept.
Yeah, that fog and laser show was pretty meaningless, wasn't it? LOL.

from start to finish, including air, hotel, meals, and entertainment for two people. I kept my eyes on USAirways' e-savers for a few months, and sure enough, they had some Germany routes pop up. A visit to hotels.com secured a very nice hotel (Le Meridien) for a great price as well. If I wouldn't have blown a ton of money shopping the final day, I could have saved $400. And if you wanted to stay somewhere cheaper, or eat cheaper, it could certainly be done. I highly recommend the journey!
