So I decided early last week that my Avant needs to find a new home....I did some basic math on how much I've spent in the last couple of years and it wasn't a pretty number (I know, BIG mistake). Anyway, someone commented on how bad my pics of the car were...so here's round two with my sub-par camera.

That might be the car that started my S4 addiction!

It was probably in May 2 years ago that I saw an Imola S4 Avant 6MT for sale. I test drove it, and immediately be came addicted to teh turboz. I found out the title was salvage, and decided to skip. It looked *exactly* like yours. The guy selling was right near the Sea-Tac airport. Same car, or coincidence?

I just sold my Silver B5S4 Avant to buy a red one. I added up the costs and nearly shat myself: 18 months, 22,250 miles, $20,900 total cost of ownership. ****!!!

The car is titled and insured in Washington, but I moved to Los Angeles about 9 months ago (my insurance will go up about $500 a year so I've conveniently been putting off registering the car in CA).

I literally went to Kinko's, copied and re-sized my plate to my liking and then had them turn it into a $0.33 sticker....it's not legal but I haven't been pulled over or harassed to date. I don't think the cops in LA are really too worried about it given that it's out of state AND perfectly readable like a normal plate.

i got 4 when i was down there, and each time they'd slap on another $25 for no front plate.

result of an accident over 4 years ago. I bought the car with the title 2+ years ago. As far as I can tell, it was a passenger side offset front accident. I've had the car for two years without any salvage title related issues....Of course, that hasn't prevented other stuff from breaking. The car now has an RS4 clutch and Stasis rebuilt transmission among other things (oh the joys of S4 ownership).
