I've dealt with 2 salvaged cars...
and both I rebuilt with my dad... I don't think I would buy a rebuilt car- it settled my mind more to see the 'before repair' condition of the car.
that said, if you know what to look for, you can sometimes reconstruct what happened (paint lines, newer parts, etc.)

That's the feeling I'm getting....
but I honestly believe that with all my mods (and only 20k more miles), the car is better now than when I bought it 2+ years ago. I'll definitely consider less than $14k, but how easy is it to find an Imola 6MT Avant with 63K?
