What is time frame and diy on project for gutting cats?

Default For gutting the pipes? If you've got skills, 15 minutes.
If you try to brute force it, 2 hours.

Default First time under the audi... took me 3 days on a lift to finish.... VERY tight working space...
As far as gutting, i found it best to use a screw driver and a crowbar...One side took me 15 minutes, other was rougher, other was about an hour (improper tools). Anyway, mechanically inclined, or not, depends on your experience under the Audi, and the size of your hands

how about relocating the o2 bungs. Is there a tech article for that somewhere, or at least pics?

Default they go right after the main cats. Face them inwards or on a slight up angle...
becareful that if you face them directly at each other, they might hit, so give them some offset.
