Piggie XR Strip Results from last night inside (slight bww)...
Let me first say that the Piggie XR is astounding on 104. I now understand the descriptions of 'liquid crack' :-)
I went to the dragstrip at Ennis last night, and ran into The R and YAUDI... good to meet/see you guys!
The track was *very* slippery, and all three of us complained about crazy wheelspin in 1st.
1st Run:
Blipped the throttle a few times to build up boost pressure, and went WOT, launching at 4K rpm's. Zero traction through 1st- I hit the rev limiter pretty quickly. Shifted to 2nd, and fed the throttle carefully, going WOT at about 5K. Clean shifts to 3rd and 4th. 13.7@106.9:

2nd run:
Launched in the same fashion as last time, just at a hair over 3K. Still got excessive wheelspin through first. Then, heard a 'pop'- smoke bellowed behind my car for the rest of the way down the track, as I backed off. :-( Only a 14.6@96 this time, but still quicker than my friend's Stage 1 APR Jetta 1.8T ;-)

After the smokescreen, the car sat, until it was towed this morning :-\ It's sitting at a local dealer waiting a diagnosis. As soon as it's back to normal, I'll go back to the track for some more runs. Seeing my 60' time stock was 2.035, I think with a nice 1.7-1.8 60' time, high 12's are doable with this setup, perhaps in the 108 trap speed range :-)
But a BIG thanks to YAUDI (for the vag help) and The R for helping me troubleshoot the car... looks like it may be just a blown hose- no dtc's. *fingers crossed* I know you guys have some good runs ahead of you!

It would have been nice not to sit in line for almost 2 hours between rus. That was nuts. Last I heard it was a girl that passed out. It was an eventfull night. Someone passing out, someone going in the sand trap, nitrous backfire and flames under the hood....gotta love the good ole drag strip. ;-p

Terrible. I need to hunt down a boost leak. Car spikes bad sometimes on shifts.
I swear I heard a BOV sound when I was coming back to the pits...might have been a car on the strip, but that would have been damn good timing on their part.

I did, but unfortunetly I had problems. I gotta find out why my car spikes so high.
I think I'm gonna do some things and hit the 1/8 track until I get it sorted out...then go back down to the 1/4 mile.
I need to get ICs bad. I touched my ICs after running and couldn't believe how hot. Almost burnt my finger. So, keep an eye out on some good deals for me.
