pink antifreeze was $30/gal at the audi dealer.. $21/gal 200 yards down the street at VW dealer:)

Correct - essentially OAT type coolant. Concensus is that the HOAT's (hybrid OAT) are likely a
superior coolant. This would be the purple G12+ stuff that is also availble at VW dealerships. You can mix the G12+ with the normal G12.
If you STFA on G12+ you will find a lot of stuff posted by AuddJunkie. I think he is basically correct, although I have never had any trouble with the OAT stuff. It's really bad to let the coolant level get low with the plain OAT, the hybrid stuff protects better if you end up low on coolant vs the OAT and overall is better. Damn coolant chemists need to make up their minds about what is better!
